Faces of the Accused (Workshop)
The Scottish Witch Trials claimed the lives and souls of more than 4.000 of our ancestors during this terrifying period of persecution , join me for a unique way to remember and honor those who's lives were cut short and who's names were often erased from history.
Within the airy bright Chamber room of the former Newburgh Town House, we will gather to connect with, honour our ancestral ties, allow our hands to sink into clay and bring forward images of the past as you sculpt your own faces of the accused. You do not need any previous experience in sculpting and no artistic ability is necessary.
We will be embarking on a mediative journey during our time together so be prepared to go deep and perhaps allow images of a forgotten soul to emerge as we work together.
There will also be an opportunity to view my Witches head sculptures and learn their stories during the workshop.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase A5 Art cards featuring my sculptures with their unique stories on the reverse. (Subject to availability, But can be pre ordered by emailing me )
