I was commissioned to create this logo for The Creative Coven collective. A creative approach to Remembering and honoring the thousands of Scottish people executed under the witchcraft act.
It features thistle to represent Scotland. Rosemary for Remembrance. Rowan for its associations with folklore & witchcraft. Red threads for the blood spilled. Bare branches for the souls stripped bare or their life and humanity.
The logo was created in different formats to suit the various applications to which it was to be used.
